Lil' Ray's

This project started with Dragubus wanting to make a Christmas present for a very young relative of hers. Normally when she makes something herself, it gets sewn by hand as that is one of Dragubus' specialties. But since it was going to be for a baby and there was a major time crunch she asked me to help with my machine, as that is my specialty. And together the design got improved and tweeked until we came up with these little Manta Rays 

We made 16 of these

 We are charging $15 each.

 They have mouth pockets.

Most of them have the light blue on the underside of the wing

But some of them are green under wings.

This is the first batch of non Pokemon plushie that we have had the inspiration for, I can't wait for the next great inspiration.

Chubby Pokemon plushies Part 1

The first combined project we came up with was chubby Pokemon plushies. The idea that if they are crammed into a little ball shouldn't that make them sort of Squished and ball like when they come out? This is what we came up with:

The Zubat

Bulbasaur

Apparently we did not get pictures of the only 2 we have finished, before they both sold.
We have 18 more in the works so pictures will come when the second batch is finished.

Humble beginnings

Welcome to Dracopsybin creative works!

This is collaboration of work from:

 Samalander Creations, and Dragubus Designs. 

Bringing you hand made stuffed toys, Cos-play accessories, 3D beaded critters, gaming accessories and other creative fun things.

This project started last year with two women who love to sew, and has spiralled into a dream for the future. The dream of being full time Artists, and eventually opening a costumes and novelties type shop. The purpose of Dracopsybin is to serve as a front name for us to combine together as Artists on projects and for Vendor or Artist spaces, and with the hope of eventually gathering more artists to join with us for combined projects and possible vending spaces.

Where can you find us? For now, we can be reached by e-mail, and we will be trying to attend as many local Victoria BC Events that we can, possibly some Vancouver BC ones too.

So far we have been at:

 Tsukinocon 2014  in Artist Alley  and 

Gottacon 2014 in Artist Alley

Our plans for future booths are:
